Cleaning Options
We offer in-situ cleaning where appropriate, or workshop-based deep cleaning for items that benefit from more thorough attention. We're always happy to discuss which approach suits your chandelier.
Workshop Cleaning
Often preferable for:
- Heavily soiled or neglected items
- Delicate antique crystals requiring individual attention
- Metalwork in need of careful restoration
- Chandeliers requiring repair or rewiring
The chandelier is carefully removed, transported to our workshop, cleaned and restored, then returned and reinstalled.
High-Level Access
For chandeliers in stairwells, entrance halls or spaces with high ceilings:
- Appropriate access equipment and safe working methods
- Experience with long-drop and large-scale installations
- Full insurance for work in historic and private properties

We examine the item carefully, noting its construction, condition and any areas requiring particular attention.

Surrounding areas are fully protected. Where necessary, crystals and fittings are methodically removed and catalogued.

Cleaning
Each element is cleaned by hand using appropriate methods for the materials involved, whether crystal, glass, brass or gilt.

Reassembly & Inspection
The chandelier is carefully reassembled, checked and tested before we consider the work complete.
