A four-sided Regency lantern of the early 19th century, suited to a hallway. A single light source gives an even glow; the original brass base for the candle, top smoke lid and decorative brass finishings are all retained.

Our Opinion
A small Regency lantern in unusually complete original condition. The presence of the candle base and smoke lid is worth noting, as these are often lost. Suited to a hall or landing where the piece can be read at close quarters.
