A modest pair of chandeliers in the Empire manner, each with three internal lamp holders set within a central ivory-coloured bowl. Three rigid brass chains suspend the bowl from the crown, with ornamental brasswork throughout. Well suited to halls, landings and stairwells where a compact fitting is required.

Restoration by G&P Cohn
Hand cleaned and lightly polished; frames checked and reassembled. Fittings tightened and prepared for hanging.
Electrification —Internal lamp holders renewed and rewired to current UK standards; PAT tested.
Condition
Restored and rewired. Brasswork in sound condition; ivory-coloured bowls intact and free of chips.
Our Opinion
A compact pair of restrained proportions, useful where a smaller fitting is required for a hall, landing or stairwell. The internal bowl gives a soft, upward light, and the pair are of practical scale rather than statement scale.
