A contemporary chandelier in a private West London residence was cleaned in situ. Atmospheric dust had reduced the refraction across the cut crystal drops and the polished metalwork.

Work Carried Out
- Protection of floors, furniture and adjacent finishes
- Hand cleaning of every crystal drop with a residue-free solution
- Polishing of the metal frame, arms and candle cups
- Reattachment of any drops that had worked loose
- Final levelling and electrical check
Approach
Work was carried out in place, without dismantling the fitting from its ceiling point. Each drop was cleaned individually and returned to its position in sequence.
Outcome
The chandelier was returned to a clear and even refraction, with the metalwork brought back to a uniform finish and the fitting left ready for use.
