A medium-sized Maria Theresa chandelier dressed throughout with Strass crystal was cleaned at a private residence in Twickenham. Years of accumulated dust had dulled the cut glass and obscured the detail of the dressing.

Approach
The chandelier was attended to by hand throughout. Each drop was cleaned in position on the chandelier, preserving the dressing as found.
Outcome
