    Condition

Restored and rewired. Gilt brasswork retains original finish; blue glass rings and drapes intact.

    Our Opinion

A well-executed copy of the Baltic type, in which the cascading blue glass rings are the principal interest. The gilt brasswork is finely finished and the arrangement of arms over two tiers is characteristic of the model. A piece for a room of classical rather than ornate decoration.
