5-Arm Gilt Brass Empire-Style Chandelier, c. 1920
Sold — ArchiveThis is a splendid 5-arm gilt-brass chandelier in the French Empire style, dating from the early part of the 20th century. All the brasswork is gilt, including the arms, pans and tulip-shaped nozzles. The central stem has an urn embellished with a beautiful mythological scene of cupids in a vineyard. A pineapple finial completes the chandelier at the very bottom. We have professionally restored this chandelier in our workshop and it is rewired, fully tested and ready to be hung.
