This is an impressive 12-light ormolu and crystal glass chandelier that dates from the early 20th century. It is in excellent condition following a complete restoration.
The classic circular frame has 4 triple-arm candelabras attached, making a total of 12 lights, all professionally rewired and fully tested. Each arm is decorated with Acanthus leaves and small pineapple finials. A larger pineapple finial at the bottom completes the look.
Pretty swag buttons and pear drops decorate the crown, and strings of graduated round double-sided buttons and connection pieces make up the bag element of this chandelier. All of the cut glass is Georgian and the ormolu is finely cast.
