A large Venetian chandelier was to be removed from a Central London property in advance of the owner's relocation, with a view to reinstating the fitting at a new address following workshop re-electrification and cleaning.

Work Carried Out
- Photographic record and component-by-component labelling
- Careful dismantling of the dressing and arms
- Packing of each element for safe transit
- Removal from the property
- Installation of a temporary light fitting in compliance with statutory requirements
Approach
Every glass element was marked and recorded before removal so that the original arrangement can be reproduced exactly when the chandelier is reinstated. Packing was carried out on site.
Outcome
The chandelier was removed and placed into store, ready for workshop attention and reinstallation at the new property in due course.
