    4-Arm Victorian Glass Chandelier, c. 1840

    A Victorian glass chandelier of the early 19th century, with four solid hockey-stick arms ending in petal-shaped pans and tulip nozzles, dressed with cut-Albert drops. The central glass stem is interspersed with two pans dressed with additional cut-Albert drops, from which hang strings of octagonal buttons to the backs of each arm. Drapes of octagonal buttons hang from the four crooks to beneath the arms, and a cut-glass bubble hangs at the lower terminal.

    5-Arm Gilt Brass Empire-Style Chandelier, c. 1920

    This is a splendid 5-arm gilt-brass chandelier in the French Empire style, dating from the early part of the 20th century. All the brasswork is gilt, including the arms, pans and tulip-shaped nozzles. The central stem has an urn embellished with a beautiful mythological scene of cupids in a vineyard. A pineapple finial completes the chandelier at the very bottom. We have professionally restored this chandelier in our workshop and it is rewired, fully tested and ready to be hung.

    This is a pretty 3-light continental chandelier with brass, hollow arms, half-frosted glass shades and a decorative floral design on the white ceramic sections. It dates from the late 20th century. It has been rewired in our workshop and is ready for hanging.

    This is a large Dutch-style brass chandelier, with 12 hollow arms over 2 tiers - 6 upper and 6 larger, lower arms. It dates from the turn of the 20th century. It has a lovely antique bronze patina and is topped with a two-headed eagle crest. Its baluster-shaped body ends in a ball, a typical feature of Dutch chandeliers which help to keep the fitting level and stop it from swinging. Please note that there is some damage to the ball of the chandelier, a dent, and this has been reflected in the price.

A plain bubble hangs from the very bottom of each chandelier. The 6 arms are interspersed with 6 finials, and all 12 are decorated with brass acanthus leaves. The stems of both chandeliers are made up of three moulded glass pieces, in addition, rosettes and pear drops hang from the top crown. The chandeliers are in perfect condition, have been professionally rewired and are fully tested.
