12-Arm Dutch Bronzed Chandelier, c. 1920
Sold — ArchiveThis is a large Dutch-style brass chandelier, with 12 hollow arms over 2 tiers - 6 upper and 6 larger, lower arms. It dates from the turn of the 20th century. It has a lovely antique bronze patina and is topped with a two-headed eagle crest. Its baluster-shaped body ends in a ball, a typical feature of Dutch chandeliers which help to keep the fitting level and stop it from swinging. Please note that there is some damage to the ball of the chandelier, a dent, and this has been reflected in the price.
