A 12-light ormolu and crystal glass chandelier of the early 20th century, restored in the workshop and in good order throughout.

Catalogue Notes
- Circular frame carrying four triple-arm candelabras, twelve lights in total
- Arms decorated with acanthus leaves and small pineapple finials
- Larger pineapple finial to the lower terminal
- Swag buttons and pear drops to the crown
- Bag element formed of graduated round double-sided buttons and connection pieces; all cut glass Georgian
Restoration by G&P Cohn
Dismantled, hand cleaned and re-strung; graduated round buttons re-hung on new wire and pins renewed where required.
Electrification —Rewired to current UK standards; PAT tested.
Condition
Restored and rewired. Ormolu finely cast and in good order; Georgian cut-glass elements retained throughout.
Our Opinion
The interest here lies in the survival of the Georgian cut glass within an early 20th-century ormolu frame, a combination often seen when workshops of the period reused earlier material. The casting is fine and the graduated bag reads well when lit.
