Cleaning an Eight-Arm Czech Chandelier in Hackney

At a property in Hackney, we cleaned a mid-sized, eight-arm Czech chandelier that had not been cleaned for several years. Its hanging glass needed individual attention, while a substantial build-up of dust had collected on the frame.

Working from ladders, we carefully removed the hanging glass into marked trays. We took the trays into the kitchen, where the glass could be cleaned separately, while the chandelier itself remained hanging.

With the glass removed, we used a handheld vacuum to lift most of the accumulated dust from the exposed frame, then cleaned the frame with a damp cloth. We tested the bulbs and replaced those that needed changing before reattaching all the hanging glass.
